Astronauts Reid Wiseman of NASA and Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency performed some station maintenance on Tuesday, October 7, during the 182nd spacewalk at the International Space Station. Gerst and Wiseman, on their first spacewalks, were outside the station for six hours and 13 minutes while they relocated a failed cooling pump that had been replaced earlier and installed back-up power for the station’s rail transport system.
